WHAT IS ICAO'S API DATA SERVICE?

ICAO’s highly reliable Application Programming Interface (API) Data Service contains the raw data collected and processed from different aviation authorities, Member States, other international organizations and NGOs.

The only official source of these data, ICAO releases many industry-trusted reference datasets, including ICAO Airport Codes (DOC7910 Location Indicators), Airline Codes (DOC8585 Operator 3-letter Designators) and Aircraft Codes (DOC8643 Aircraft Type Designators).

HOW DO I USE THE SERVICE & ACCESS DATA?
You can access the data by using API queries
or by downloading data sets from our API Data Service website.
An API key is required to perform any query or download.

SERVICE PLANS AND PRICING

Your registration to our API Data Service comes with 100 free calls. After this free trial, you can choose between three different types of plans.

1. BOOSTER PACKS come in four different sizes of up to 40k calls. They are best for those with specific, limited needs and work on any of our 50+ APIs. They are offered through our online store.

2. FULL DATA-SET PACKAGES are offered for those with extensive data needs. Choose one API from our 50+ options and get all its data at once as an Excel file, or in JSON format. Get the latest information from documents 8643, 7910, and 8585 in an easily processed format.

3. UNLIMITED CALLS are best for professionals who need the latest information as it is refreshed in the system. It allows for full organic integration of the APIs of your choice into your own software. Stay always up-to-date without any limits.
