HOW TO
	Use Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM). Discover an array of tools, from basic ATFM measures to very advanced procedures.
	Handle more traffic in safer skies.
	Involve the right person, at the right moment in your decisions with collaborative decision making (CDM), to deliver a fully integrated curb-to-curb service.
	Design and implement Descent Operations / Continuous Climb(CDO/CCO).
	Training material on these key operational target areas will be provided and further developed as a joint venture between ICAO, IATA, CANSO and ACI.
	Save fuel and reduce emissions and develop statistics that prove it!

SHARE the EXPERIENCE

The objective of the symposium and workshops is to provide real, useful guidance with a strong operational focus for the benefits of Member States and air navigation service providers (ANSPs).

The symposium and workshops will provide a learning experience to facilitate implementation of ATFM or CDO/CCO to Member States and ANSPs to overcome and resolve issues that may arise.

Guidance will also be provided on how to measure and document fuel saving and reduced emissions.

STREAMLINE DELIVERY OF THE GANP
The Advanced ATM Techniques Symposium and Workshops is organized by ICAO in close collaboration with IATA, CANSO and ACI. These organizations play a key role in delivering training courses related to the Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP) which includes all the Airspace System Block Upgrade Modules endorsed by the aviation community. This is one of the first steps to streamline the training that will turn the GANP into real operational improvements.
