The Strategic Planning, Coordination and Partnerships Office (SPCP), in close collaboration with Regional Offices (ROs) and Bureaus, began laying the foundations for an intensified ICAO-wide outreach to International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). These efforts are in line with Resolution A40-22, which encourages States to engage with financial institutions towards prioritizing the aviation sector for funding, to implement assistance and national projects in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Close coordination and support from States in such endeavours is instrumental, given their membership in IFI and MDB boards.
